Hello, I'm Meichun Yan, a Grade 10 student with a passion for environmental sustainability and innovative art. As a dedicated member of the Waste2Wonders team, I am committed to transforming discarded materials into meaningful and beautiful artworks. My role involves collaborating with artists and environmentalists to promote the message that waste can be repurposed creatively rather than simply being thrown away.With a keen interest in both environmental science and the arts, I strive to bridge the gap between these two fields by showcasing how trash can be given a second life through artistic expression. I believe in the power of art to raise awareness about environmental issues and to inspire others to adopt more sustainable practices.In addition to my environmental work, I am an active student engaged in various extracurricular activities that help me grow both personally and academically. I am always eager to learn new skills, whether it’s through academic challenges or creative projects, and I bring this enthusiasm to my work with Waste2Wonders.Through my involvement in this initiative, I hope to inspire my peers and the broader community to think differently about waste and to join me in making a positive impact on our planet.
